So, it's a free comic book. . . and as such I don't suppose that I can expect too much. The illustrations are fantastic, and the story (what little there is) is fine. I guess my issue with this free comic book is that the story is (in my opinion) a little too short and nothing really happens. Don't misunderstand me-- in real life I would oftentimes actually prefer that nothing happens. However, when reading a Star Wars comic book I would hope that it has action, adventure, and a story + graphics that keep me glued to each page until I finish it. In case you don't want to read it but want to know the story, here's a brief outline (*spoilers):Taking place a short time before "Revenge of the Sith" Anakin and Obi- Wan are on the hunt for Grevious and Count Dooku because they hope that by finding and defeating them they can end the clone wars. They crash-land on the planet Ruhe and leave most of their clone troops with their broken down ship. They go in search of their quarry on seeders and while Anakin is being his usual obnoxious self they get ambushed by a droid patrol and their clone troopers die. Anakin and Obi-Wan continue on and have a few reflective moments and spend the night sleeping under the stars. Eventually find a palace with Dooku's ship and find out that it was a trap. . . they battle their way outside, Obi-Wan gets injured, and falls off a cliff-- but then they are rescued by the rest of their troops who managed to repair their ship in record time.Like I said, kind of boring. . . but probably still worth downloading since it is free.

This was a really fun comic book! I picked up the Kindle version, and was quite happy that I did! Some of the comics available for free comic book day are not great - but this one definitely is! If you are a Star Wars fan, or even a Star Wars rookie, this will be a fun little read for you! This comic is appropriate for readers of all ages. I have several of my middle school aged students read this comic on my Kindle, and they all said they enjoyed it. I thought it was fun - and I'm not even a middle schooler!

As a free comic, the purpose of this book is to introduce new readers to a series of Star Wars comics. This book suits that purpose well.At first, I thought the artwork was a bit cartoony and there are times when the characters don't quite look the same as previous pages.Characters and story are a bit stiff and there is little original here. However, fans should enjoy the read and be tempted to read further entries in the series.Younger readers will find it entertaining and should enjoy this book.

This comic is okay. It's got Anakin and Obi-Wan on a mission to a planet to try to storm one of Dooku's citadels on a remote planet. There is some good artwork, and a few good fight scenes. Also we see Obi-Wan have an emotional outburst, which is rare for him, he always seems to calm and in control of himself. It's not bad and it's worth a quick read. Check it out!

For a free comic, i think its worth the read. Its only 24 pages. The art style does a really good job of capturing the appearance of Anaken and Obiwan. I was not completely sold with some of the spoken dialogue, but STARWARS is not known for its believability in such matters to begin with. Overall,i enjoyed what i read. It is a very quick read as i stated previously. To be honest this comic even exceeded my expectations!
