Paris Sketchbook Reviews
I love three things: Watercolors, books and Paris. Author Mary Kelly and Fabrice Moireau teamed up to make the most delicious book on Paris that I have seen yet. Yes, I exclaimed "Ooo-la-la" when I opened this to a random page, but forgive me for the cliche. This book is magnificient in every way.
Gorgeous book to study and linger over with pleasure. First saw in the gift shop at the Musee d'Orsay in Paris, but much easier to order through amazon than to fit it into my luggage for the return trip home. I would enjoy looking through her other books of the series as well. Lovely book!
Great product and excellent service. Thanks much!
This is a lovely book of watercolor sketches of Paris with handwritten narratives which accompany them. I was very impressed with the book and bought it for my husband (we lived in Paris). Now that i know that there are many other similar "sketchbooks" of other european cities, I am less impressed and see them as more mass-produced. Still it a lovely book.
Great book. Filled with wonderful sketches and write-ups about the best places in Paris. A must have if you have visited Paris.
Very well done, not only great sketches but also well documented and descriptive.
Beautiful book. I am thoroughly enjoying it! Beautiful artwork and accuracy in descriptions and history of Paris!
Paris Sketchbook is filled with pen and ink drawings that will help you relive a past adventure to the city of lights. I have searched for this book for quite awhile and when it arrived I could almost feel the swirling winds circling my head and filling my senses with the aromas and sights of this city filled in romance and amazing Histories. I can compare my faded details of my memories with the sketches now and relive the dream come true of making my way to Paris.
